Hi. Can somebody help me to know the procedures in getting a police clearance. what are the requirements? is it possible to go directly at Canadian embassy to get the police clearance form? Thanks.

If u need a police clearance from Abu Dhabi, get a fingerprint, have it notarized, send it to DFAIT in Ottawa and have it legalized by the UAE Embassy in Ottawa. After that you can send it to your friend/relative in ABu Dhabi or send it directly to the police GHQ. If u send it to ur friend/relative, although it is already legalized by the UAE Embassy in Ottawa, they will ask you to have it legalized in ABu Dhabi too! aside from that, your friend/relative must go directly to the police office near maqta bridge, near ministry of labor office.

But if u are in ABu Dhabi, you can go to the police station somewhere in Khalidiya, have ur Emirates ID ready.
