1 for permanent, 0.5 for temporary for past 5 years.

So for temporary residence visa for how long we can claim those days ? Just fro one year or for 5 years before we sign application date ?

You can claim days that fall within five years before you sign the application. Up to 2 years of pre-PR time can be counted at .5 day credit each. So the most you can get as credit for pre-PR time is 1 year.

So if I correctly understood, if you have temporary status in 5 years before signing application , i can claim those days for 2 years which 730*0.5= 365 and 730 for PR days right?

Yes. You need not worry about this as online application, physical presence section calculates it for you once you provide proper details.

So when you fill online application, if gives you full details whether you are eligible or not? How accurate is that online calculator?

It's accurate as long as you have entered accurate dates and details.

But you have to take care of all the days you were outside Canada too. They don't count and acts as an important verification parameter for IRCC.
So apply with a bit of buffer and put proper days of entry/exit and days you were temporary/PR.

Hello everyone! I will be filling for citizenship this weekend, just 1 quick question. For implied status period while waiting for PGWP would count as "Temporary Worker" right?

Study permit expiry - 31 Aug 2019
Application date for PGWP - 19 July 2019
PGWP - 5 Nov 2019

Implied Status - 1 Sep-4 Nov (Wasn't working so not sure how to show this in the physical presence)

Thank you!
