Requirements For Canadian PR TO VISIT USA

Hi,

I know this is not a relevant Question here but I am expected seniors can easily reply on this.
I want to visit USA to meet my cousin and I have Candian PR.

Can Anyone guide me on how do I enter USA means I have to take VISA by embassy or they will issue me on USA-CANADA border?

Canadian PRs are required to have a Visa (either B1/B2 for visitor for business or pleasure) or any other sort of visa, like L1, H1 etc. to enter USA.

Canadian PRs cannot simply go to the border and get visa. Unless you have a passport that allows you to enter USA without visa like AUstralia, Britain etc. You cannot enter USA with a visa required country with just Canadian PR. Do not try that you will be rejected/denied entry and sent back. Apply for a visa by reaching out to the nearest US embassy.

On the contrary - US Green Card Holders (PR) do not need visa to enter Canada. They can enter Canada for visit purposes only for a short term
