What are the requirements to maintain the PR Status in Canada ? Eg: How long to stay ?

How soon can one apply for citizenship in Canada after getting PR ?

To maintain you have to reside in Canada for 2 out of 5 years. Citizenship currently at 4 years in last 6 years. About to be changed soon to 3 in 5 years.
