Requirement for IELTS

I have IELTS academic.i have got 7 bands overall.. in couple of months i ll also get LMIA from a Canadian employer ..
Can i use academic IELTS for applying work visa or not? Plz guide

For PR applications, you need a general IELTS result. For the temporary work permit application, I did not need to provide a language exam to get it.

I know but i have done academic IELTS... Attaching it with my temporary work visa application will strengthen my case or not ??
