Required fund amount for study permit extension

I want to extend my study permit. I will apply for 2 semester extension. Now my tuition is 4000 CAD [for 2 sem] and for these 8 months I am showing 8000 CAD expense. Will it be ok if I show 14000 CAD? Another question: or should I show what is available now+what would be available in future (On/Off job) as the available funding? Can anyone please suggest?

1. As long as show that you have sufficient funds, then it doesn't matter how much in excessive of those that you have.
2. Present funds, future is unknown, unless you have a crystal ball.
