Hi,

I am applying for the ESDC Pilot Program (Global Talent Stream) with a positive LMIA. I am a little confused regarding the required documents for my application for a Work Permit.
  1. ✅ Employment Contract
This is the document from my employer in Canada
  2. ⚠ Employment Reference Letter
Is this a document I need from my previous employer?
  3. ✅ Employment Records
Work experience letters from previous employers
  4. ⚠ Proof that you Meet the Requirements of the Job Being Offered
Not really sure about what to upload here
  5. ⚠ Letter from Current Employer
Not really sure about what to upload here
Please can anyone help me?

I am in the same boat too. My employer applied for the Global Talent stream visa. I am waiting for the response. Once I get the response, I should upload the same documents.

⚠ Employment Reference Letter

Employer Reference letters are your past employment letters. Experience or Reference letter should work which includes job responsibilities, date of employment, hours of work and salary.

⚠ Proof that you Meet the Requirements of the Job Being Offered

You should show that you met the requirements of the job. Meaning you have to read the job posting and address each point in it and show your bachelors or masters are a right match.

Remaining I have figure out too. BTW, when did you get your LMIA approved for Global Talent stream? My employer submitted my application 5 Business days ago. Your response would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds about right.

The LMIA took 10 business days for us. There is no way to track the status.

It depends on the selected NOC.
