What is the minimum amount of cash required for someone to apply without any family members? I've gone through different websites and it only shows results for applying with a spouse or child included.

If you are single, the amount is $12,960.

If you have a spouse / common law partner or dependent children, then you need to show a higher level of savings aligned to the number of people in your family (including yourself).
