Hi,
Is there any realtor who helps new immigrants find accommodation. As every decent listings asks for employment and credit checks both which are not available and the way around them is expensive with bulk rent payments.

Thanks

Instead of employment and credit check, you can have a guarantor. Check out the places, and then you can speak to the landlord. The landlord can only ask for first and last month rent.

Apartments often have their own application so realtors won’t show you apartment rentals because they won’t get paid. Would suggest looking at viewit.ca. If you are looking at condos that are usually more expensive than apartments a realtor is more likely to be able to show you condos. Some landlords will not want to work with a realtor because they don’t want to pay them so I would look on your own using websites like kijiji.ca. It really depends on your budget. Realtors are often only involved in more expensive rentals. If you do work with a realtor I would make sure there is a clause which allows you to also look for your own rentals.
