Hello everyone. Im just new in this group, and Im too depress to think of the outcome of our mistakes thats why Im here looking for an answer or best advice.

My husband applied for PR and got already COPR but our problem is we havent receive any passport request yet for our 2 children bec when we did the IMM008 form, we missed understood the question if the kids is accompanying. Since me and my husband is just planning to come to canada first we put it as non-accompanying when we submit the form. And now that we got the COPR, we are confused that why we havent receive yet passport request and also we already paid for pr application for 4 person including our kids. My question can we still add them to our pr application even after we received ocpr for ky husband? And if not whats the best to do so we can bring the kids and be with us here in canada? My kids are almost 2yrs old and 12yrs old.

They were listed as non-accompanying which would mean you would need to sponsor them when you were in Canada.

You will need to sponsor them.. after approval, the file is closed.. if it was still in processing you could have done add-on but processing may delay. So dependent only sponsorship. I called immigration yesterday because my husband is in the same boat. So a new sponsorship it is now .. good thing the child already did medical
And we have documents already so we just going to apply and submit all documents now .

Did you both got eCOPR or landed with the passport with the COPR? If that's the case, you can only sponsor your children after you are physically in Canada.
Apply for family class sponsorship for each of your children.

If you have NOT yet landed with the COPR, you could notify IRCC and not land with the COPR (do not activate your PR) and wait in your home country until all 4 of you get the updated COPR with PPR.
Then land all together. I do not know how long it will take and how much will be the delay. You may want try webform and call them.

Yes same here. I called immigration yesterday and explained. The agent was so nice and gave me as much information . He said from once the PA gets approved and get PR the file is closed , if it was still in processing we could add on but it would delay the processing of application. So I just say fine we will just apply for the child.

In this case, you need to file family class sponsorship applications for each of your children.

If they need TRV to travel to Canada, you can try to apply TRV for them. (if they only need eTA, then just get eTA)
They can come as visitor and wait for their PR process in Canada (if they have TRV or eTA). They are not yet covered by provincial health, so get travel health insurance for them in case of emergency. Since their parents are PRs, they should be able to attend local schools.

We are also considering to apply them for TRV.
But Can they stay here in canada as visitors while waiting for the approval of the PR?

Yes. You have to extend their stay as visitors before their 6 months of visitor status expire and until their PR is approved.
