Hi All,

I've applied under the simplified process and FSW for permanent residency in Canada late in Jan 2007. I've recently receieved a letter from the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv asking if I am still interested in immigration to Canada or If I would like to withdraw my application and get my fee back. They have given me a 45 time frame to decide about it!
My question is: Does that mean that they are going to start processing my application just after the 45 time frame stated in the letter, once I decide to continue with my application?!

Thanks in advance!

Nope, it only means that they have opened the application, and before it is put into the processing stream they want to know if you are still interested, instead of wasting their time.

What does putting the application into the processing stream mean in terms of time, bearing in mind that I've submitted my application back in Jan 2007? Any estimations please?

BTW: They've said in the AOR I recieved in Jan 2007 that they estimate the waiting time to be between 24 to 30 months!
Any estimations please!
Thanks in advance
