Requesting someone to guide urgently

Hello people,

I need some urgent information for the following questions. Requesting to help please. Thank you.

1. I have already got my passport stamped. However because now I just have 5months validity left on my passport, I am planning to reissue my passport. Since I no longer stay at the old address , I will have to update my passport with new address and just add my husbands name ( I am already a dependent in this cic application, so marriage is already stated... only my passport didn’t have his name earlier) so now on renewal , I will have a new address and addition of spouse name.

Can I still travel with old and new passport together and there will not be any problem at immigration.
I don’t stay close to any VAC, so going to again reststamp new pp will be a big hassle.

2. Planning to do border immigration from SEATTLE TO VANCOUVER.
Can I take public transport to do the same?

Yes, you have a valid visa and therefore you can travel by plane/train/bus etc.

When this happened to me for my H1B visa, I just visited the nearest CBP office and they extended my validity according to my new passport. Take ALL relevant documents with you.

That should not be a problem. Just carry both passports and explain IF any questions are asked.

My husband and I have received our COPR .. but we are intending to travel separately.

We were earlier planning for Toronto but now we are going to Vancouver.

Looking at our dates of travel, my husband intends to first land in Toronto and then take an internal local flight separately to Vancouver. So in this case I guess his first land immigration process will be done at TORONTO ( we have and can give a local address of Toronto for them to send our PR)
But for SIN he will be applying in VANCOUVER ONLY.
Is this possible??

Secondly, I am dependent and I will be travelling separately later after 2 weeks but via SEATTLE BORDER TO VANCOUVER BORDER.
And doing my landing process there at border.
Is this possible?
