Hi,

My father's PR renewal is under review right now and we were advised to obtain FOSS and GCMS notes.

It looks like it's possible to do online at atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca
however I'm not sure which option to choose in order to get both FOSS and GCMC.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

FOSS is outdated, if I'm not mistaken, pertaining to older applications; GCMS is newer

Both FOSS and CAIPS are superseded by GCMS which is now used by all Canadian visa offices worldwide. GCMS is an abbreviation for Global Case Management System.
GCMS is an internal term that's also popular around on this forum to refer to the IRCC case notes. When you make the request, essentially, you will need to select an Access to Information request ($5 fee) for the IRCC officer's case notes for your father's PR application.
