CONGRATS sis for the successful interview ! May I ask if you have an idea why you were requested for an interview ?

Goodluck to the rest who will have an interview. Just be confident and pray.

The V.O told me the only reason of the interview is to know how close I am to my hubby's family & how will I handle our cultural differences.. :)

Hi pretigal.. :) My application is under Spousal Sponsorship so its kinda different from MPNP gen stream.
You need to prepare a list of possible questions that the V.O might ask to your mom and read it over and over again. The Visa Officer is too friendly and there's no reason to get nervous or afraid. Just answer it direct to the point and don't open a new topic that will lead to a new question. At first they will ask you if you need interpreter or not.. But in my case i didn't ask for interpreter because I want it just me and the V.O in the cubicle. There's a glass between you and the visa officer. If the embassy ask you for additional documents as proof you better organize it by each topic. V.O will check it one by one.:)

Don't forget to smile always & be confident don't let the V.O show that you are afraid or nervous. :)
