Requesting Attention : Only People without AOR and who got AOR late

Hello Every one

I submitted my documents on 3rd April and did not receive my AOR yet. I thought AOR was auto generated and hence, I am just trying to make sense of it. The people who got AOR late, can you please answer the following:

1. After how long you got the AOR
2 Did you contact cic or send a case specific inquiry?

I'm one of the person who is waitng AOR still now :-X
I've got ITA on 27th Feb under CEC and submited my doc on 19th Mar including medical too.
However, still no AOR message but changed my status to OPEN on early of Apr.
Many people got AOR without delay but some have a few delay & not sure what is the standard.
Fortunately, my work permit has expire date by Oct so I'm just waiting and believe will be fine.

Anyway, I am waiting AOR over 1month....

18 days and waiting!

But when CIC send me documents request email, the letter shows my UCI and Application: EXXXXXXXXX (which is identical to my EE profile).

I can even use my EXXXXXXXXXX to check my application status on ECAS.

My CIC status:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
A final decision has been reached Not Started

My ECAS staus:

We received your application for permanent residence on January 24, 2015.

We started processing your application on March 7, 2015.

Medical results have been received.


Very interesting, BUT I DO NOT HAVE MY AOR YET!!!

u dont actually need AOR< if u hav the file numbers , thats enough.

My app filed on Apr 4th.
Next day status changed to open, but no other updates at all.

BOWP app filed on Apr 12 (WP was valid until Apr 13) with explanation of missing AOR.

Tried to call CIC call centre just now and it wouldn't even transfer me to an agent. The system just said "Due to the high volume of calls we are receiving we are unable to transfer you to an agent"

what more AOR do you need? Your application is being processed and updated. That is more than enough AOR.

Today I received my AOR.
My application was submitted on Apr 4. And the AOR just came in dated on Apr 5th.

It mentions that my application was received on February 13, which is the date I submitted my EE profile.

AOR is not sent in email. It is a PDF document which is seen in new message received. Click small arrow below the message and it will be downloaded.

Yes that's what I received this morning. A new CIC message and within a reference to the AOR pdf.

I hope it isn't any problems with MyCIC account that I am not receiving messages from CIC (e.g. in case they are requesting additional docs)

Hey I too did not get AOR but my cic changed to medical passed... I too applied on april 3rd...

I applied on April 1st and got AOR after 7 days.There is no further updates until now.Is there anybody else in a same situation as mine.??? I have seen people who submitted after me got some progress in their profile.
