Requested FBI Clearance, too late to apply for September 2016?

Hello,

I sent my request for the FBI clearance from Switzerland today...it says on the FBI website that it takes aprox. 13-16 weeks to process.

The thing is, i want to apply for September 2016 and i know i will have to submit the full application including the clearance..Will it be too late to apply from when i receive the clearance?

Please someone shed some light on this for me !!

I am afraid to say it might be too late

I had to wait few month for my clearance then 6 month for my visa

I was hold back for almost a year !

It says the process for visa for my country is up to 5 weeks...Hopefully the clearance arrives in time...

last i heard jan 4 application for FBI clearance were being processed this was a few days ago

someone on the forum called FBI help line and they told him FBI is processing applications which were received on or before 4th jan this was last week. So if ur application reached after 4th jan then its still waiting in queue.

Oh ok thanks for the answer. I talked to my immigration consultant and he said i can submit the application for the visa even though i didnt get the clearance and send it later on.
