Quick question which has probably been asked hundreds of times....

Application was sent to Ottawa after SA on April 29, ecas still says application received. Could we still be asked for additional documents or could we be passed the time for that and they might be reviewing app?? Maybe its too hard to say but thought I would get peoples thoughts.

They can and probably will ask for additional documents right up until you see Decision Made on your application.

If you're applying outland Ottawa seems to ask pretty much everybody for additional evidence of the sponsor's intent to return but don't do that until the later stages of the application process.

I was requested additional docs when my status was " application was received" on CIC.

Get this right that your application to Ottawa will be handle in two form, first the sponsor and second the applicant, if your ecas still says application received after SA, this is refering to the applicant because the sponsor is done and it is possible they request for additional doc when it's needed, good luck.
