Request to do oath from a different country - is this possible?

Hi all,

Has anyone here requested to do their oath while being in a different country? If so, how did you do so? What was your approach?

I called IRCC customer support today and the customer service had mentioned that there is a possibility of doing the oath while being abroad. So I am curious of the process.

There’s a detailed thread on this subject. So far only two claimed cases. A third claimant disappeared when probed a little further. Suffice to say that it is certainly not the norm or even widely reported.
