No its fine either ways. If u sent photos with letters its fine. See sometimes letter does not arrive and u can call cic and agent sends u the details. In that case u need to fill a form and send with the photos.

We all get conscious and waiting is very difficult. But the cards eventually come. So sit back and relax and all the very besy guys. CIC has their own way of working and noone will ever understand that ..... ::))))).

Hi everyone..

I had to retake my photo and send them (Dec. 10) to the PR Office based on a letter I had received from them in the mail. However, I did not see any requirement to fill any firm (i. e. IMM 5455 )!!!! .Instruction was to send 2 new photos along with the same letter I received. So am I missing sth?

We landed at Calgary: 16th Aug
Photo retake request: 21st October
Photos received by CIC: 26th OCT
PRC received for me and my daughter on 11th Dec
PRC still awaited for my wife (under production).
Delays caused due to backlog and holidays.

I guess it has nothing to do with the ECAS (it does not work for many people so dont relate it with your PRC). However; for the address: we sent the request online just to be on the safe side and it took two weeks for getting updated on the records. But if you have provided ur address on the date of landing to the immigration office, there is no need to worry, just reconfirm from call center. They are helpful as much as they can be)

Landed (family of 4) Aug. 18, two PRs received 60 days after landing. The other two required photos to be retaken.. new photos sent Dec. 10..and waiting.. mailing address updated on ecas 10 days after landing..

I am in a similar boat. I became a PR on June 18th 2015. I got a letter stating that my photos were rejected. I resent my photos on October 28th. I have tried calling them after that but they state that my photos have not yet been received. On the portal it shows that the package was received. Is there anything else I can do? I have resent my photos again which were received on Dec 21st 2015. Any office I could walk up to - to identify the problem?

I believe the below scenario is applicable for rejecting the photos .

1) you are inland applicant, and your photos is not verified by visa office
2) your photos submitted is not on the COPR .( added by visa office )

also please share with me if in Montreal airport they issue the SIN nom and how long the process takes to finalize all the landing procedures

My Case:
I, my husband, my mother and my daughter landed as immigrants on 18th June 2015.
I, my husband and my mother received PR cards on 14th September 2015 but didn't receive it for my toddler.
I thought it might be arriving in another mail, so waited and then called CIC. Then they told me to send photographs if my daughter.
Meanwhile my daughter went back with my mother to her homeland as she didn't adjusted well here and I wanted to finish her school year back home.
Now I want her to be here with me and still waiting for PR card

Hey everyone. My family and I landed in Canada on September 11th, 2015.
Currently, my father, my brother and myself have received our PR cards. However, my mother has yet to receive hers.
We got a letter early December that was requesting new photographs from my mother. We received this letter in Montreal and we were in Toronto at the time. We sent the pictures with a copy of her confirmation of permanent residency.
My only concern is that we did not send the photographs with the letter. Would this be a problem? Is there any way to find out if the photos were received?
