Request Letter -- Help!!

Hi All,

Need your expert advice. I received an email to day from OTTAWA office asking for few things for them to proceed with my application. Here are things required by them:

"National ID/Status document: Proof of your current immigration or residence
Marriage Certificate / Licence: photocopy of Official Marriage/certificate (please note: form of appliation for marriage on file)status in your present country of residence for yourself and your Spouse This must be received at this office by: 11/09/2013
· This must be received at this office by: 11/09/2013
· Details of personal history for your Spouse from Jan2002 to Dec2006. Start with the most recent information, indicate your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (ie. Unemployed, studying, traveling, etc). Please include city/town or country and the name of the institution/company."

I didn't understand....they already have our passport copies with the valid H1 visa, they have our address proof of US, we had already submitted our marriage certifcate when I first applied to CIC and with the application form I have already filled the information about my wife's stay from the dates mentioned.

I dont understand either they lost these docs or they do not bother to check it in my applicaiton.
I am not worried about providing these docs again but I am confused about the Marriage certificate because it asks for some form which they have not provided me with./

Please let me know if someone also had similar sitution or knows what it is.

It usually happens. Dnt worry. Provide them again (so that no time is wasted) and also email them saying that you had already included everything in our application. Sometimes papers are misplaced.
