Request letter from IRCC

This is what i received recently,

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. The following documents are required to
continue processing your application:

Updated Letter of Acceptance.

There is time-frame to submit the same

I applied for defer to Jan 23 intake more than a month ago, its been in wait-list since then,

I mailed college for an updated Letter of Acceptance as soon as I got request letter , their response was seats are full and you are in the wait-list , we will tell you when an seat becomes vacant.


If anyone has a similar experience or any idea to make this situation in my favour please enlighten me

I'm assuming your original intake was Sep 22. If intake for the Jan 23 term is full, maybe it would be best to request intake for the May 23 term so that your DLI sends you an updated LOA as soon as possible. Otherwise, you could miss the deadline stablished by IRCC.

My program is not available for may ,
though college gave me option to choose another program which is still open for Jan23 or may23,

I am afraid if giving updated letter for a different program to IRCC , could impact my application.

What would you suggest , should i give ircc loa for the program which is in similar domain.

Changing programs will definitely affect your application. You should avoid it if possible.

On top of that the request letter i received from IRCC mentioned a deadline to fulfill the request , I followed the instructions as mentioned in request letter to view deadline and upload submit option, but unfortunately there is nothing like that as expected , This is really crazy , no idea what and how could this be solved , suppose if i raise webform it will take ages for that and unfortunately they have a timeframe which i am not able to view by then could be passed and will result in a refusal , this has turned out much complex for real

Don't know what to tell you... The only thing one can do is trying to prepare before applying for the worst case scenario. For example, you should find out prior to paying a dime to the DLI, how does deferrals work in case you need to defer, how does the refund policy work in different scenarios, etc. Maybe someone else can give you their opinion but to me, IRCC won't continue to process your application until you submit the updated LOA. Also, if you chance your program you would need to submit a new SOP where you should try and convince the officer that this new program also fits your profile. The best route I think would be to speak with your DLI and insist that they issue you an updated LOA. Not sure what else you could do...

This is the scene mate.
my consultant has been trying to get the updated deferred jan 23 LOA for the same program i lodged the application for fall intake , but more confusing is the IRCC timeframe not visible to me , so i can take a informed and timely decision accordingly , i have already paid full fees to college long ago when i lodged file for fall intake. This is not simple , still gotta do it somehow.

Hello, did u receive YOUR Visa after submitting new LOA?
