Request form -Imm 5406

Finally an update on my file ater 4 months. I was requested to submit theimm 5406 form.
The unsettling parrt is that the letter I got says that "we have STARTED working on your file and in order to make a decision we need this"
Does it mean that I still have a long way to go or once I submit this form I should expect ppr?

Yes, I got this after 5 months of my application. Hope you got your PR by now? Share how it went for you... I got this message two days ago and now i have confusion as to who all should fill this form and sign it. I am applying for canada PR for the first time in my family and my wife is not accompanying me to canada. is it ok if only i fill this form for my application and send it across. Please help!

Did you guys get your PPR? I have also been asked to provide that form, even though I am under FSW class, single, no parents, no kids and no sibling. Submitted on the 26th of October. Status changed to "...documents have been uploaded". No news yet.

Did you have any news on that? I got the same request and I'm a single applicant, I have no kids and my family also don't live in Canada. I'm not sure if I have to fill with my family information still, or just mine.

This is just a procedural request, just fill for yourself and send it to IRCC.

I filled out the form and just left blank the kids and siblings fields. They sent me PPR 5 days after that.
