This is regarding my application for Canada Immigration via Express Entry. For that I need to get the ECA done from WES.
They need the photocopies of original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar’s Office from Jadavpur University, India. And Also the attested photocopies have to be placed in an official sealed envelope and sent to WES.

Can you please explain me the procedure of how to go about this.

I am wondering if you had any breakthrough with this. I am in a similar position, and wondering what exactly is the process, and if there is a managed service provider who can help with this.
 
call up the university and tell them you want duplicate transcripts. IF they send it ( than ask the charges) its okay or else ask anyone to collect it in sealed envelop and post it from the same city.
My university also did not send directly, so i got it collected and than posted from the same city the university is. its fine
Alternatively you can ask them to send it to you i sealed envelop and you can send it also, but safer is to send from the city of university.
 
Hi i also need transcripts in a sealed envelope from Jadavpur university. How to get those?

Hi guys - We visited the registrar's office in JU in January. We were informed as per the pdf on the Jadavpur university website, browse to Examination -> Verification. This will give you instructions.
that we would have to pay 50$ per document to be verified for WES. The registrar's office was aware of WES.

100$ for 2 degrees seemed a little steep, so we got a photocopy of the mark sheet and visited the vice-chancellors office to get his seal and signature. This DID NOT WORK, so we are back to square one.
This time we are getting the semester marks verified.

I am guessing just the transcripts will not do.
 
Just an update for those looking at this thread.

We sent the envelopes we collected from JU Registrar's office. WES evaluated these, took them only 3 business days. 100$ + courier charges :'( well spent.
 
Hi, i need your help in regards to transcripts from JU.

Basically they have sent me the transcripts but they are not sealed. They just provided extra envelopes in which i can post to WES.

Now WES says that they should be sealed. I am stuck. Please advise.
