request for passports but having a baby next month

Hi Guys!

I just got the email from CPPO that they need our passports, for my wife and for me. I got a four years old son and he is Canadian citizen.

But got couple of questions here, my wife is pregnant and her due is on last week of February this year, should we inform the visa office about this? We are living here in Alberta.
And we just moved, how can we update them regarding new address?

You don't need to inform the visa office. Even if the child is born before you land, it won't matter to the application because the child will be a Canadian citizen (so there is no need to sponsor the child).

Note: technically you are supposed to inform the visa office once the child is born. So send them a letter. It is unlikely it will be added to your file before you land, but even if it is, the officer will know it does not have any impact (though they could ask you to update the supplemental family form - so do that ahead of time if you wish).

Thanks for your prompt response, it make sense that we're having a Canadian Citizen baby, just want to make it sure that we are on track for this one as we almost reach finish line. Anyways, ill inform them about the status and let see what they going to say about it.
