Hello everyone,
I applied for a study permit to pursue doctoral studies at Canada on 26th. May, 2014. I made an online application and I received an email confirmation today morning asking me to send in my passport for further processing.
Now, I have a question really. I know it's a bit stupid, but I'm being a bit scared and panicky. Would the Canadian high commission request for my passport only if my visa is approved? In case the visa is refused, would they still want the passport? Is a visa refusal stamped on the passport?
I have been to a few countries previously and never had a visa rejection. So I'm a bit scared. I hope everyone here would be able to clarify my doubt.
I would like to believe that my visa has most likely been approved, hence the request for the stamp I guess. Please clarify. Thanks. Ayan
