request for passport (photos)

Hi everybody,

Our application processing is dragging to its final stage; we received a letter from HK requesting for passport.
One of the requirements is three photos. In one place the email says "submit three passport-sized photos", but a few blocks down it says
"follow the instructions provided in the section How to Complete the Forms of the application guide and in Appendix A: Photo Specifications" where it clearly states that immigration photo is not the same as passport photos. I am really confused. Somebody, who already went through all this, can you please advice?

Yes you need to go to an actual photographer or a place that will follow that page's instructions. The sizing is different.
I had issues finding a place that would follow the instructions. But some have used Walgreens/CVS/Other places that do Passports.

Make sure that the photographer knows THEY ARE NOT PASSPORT PICTURES and not to follow the passport picture template or will be rejected.

Also put the information on the backs...You will be good to go!

End of March 2015 - notification email that the file has been transferred from BJ to HK
May 18 2015 - request for medicals
May 19 2015 - request for passport
