Visa Office......
LONDON
Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Passport Req..
14-01-2010
My spouse received the EMAIL (High tech eh?) today!!! ON HIS BIRTHDAY!! Best present ever.. They want his passport to process the visa sent to the LONDON office.

We are so pleased... but I am skeptical inside.. could this be? Is this really it?? Has he for sure 100% been approved?
We spent months meticulously putting together all the documents, we paid for EVERYTHING right away- could all the planning have paid off?
We anticipated to wait at least a year!

here is our timeline

Oct 14- received by Mississauga
Oct 30- approved as sponsor ----> sent to London
Jan 14- passport request
(3 MONTHS!!!)

Sure, why not? That London office seems quick. Lucky you!

A lot of people here have gotten their PPR through e-mail, so I'm sure it's genuine. :)

Just double check that the sending e-mail address seems legit, that the e-mail contains your case ID and that the address they want you to send the passport to makes sense.

I guess congratulations are in order regardless! :)

I'm about two weeks behind you timewise, so this piece of news makes me very excited. What country is your spouse from?

It's still possible something could go wrong (the possibility is not big enough to worry about it), but yeah, if London asked for his passport, then they intend to give him his visa. Congratulations! :)
