Request for new or valid passport - expert assist

Actually, my passport will be expired in November 2015. But got request from CIC to provide new passport. my timeline is on left side.

I think they need atleast one year validity from the date of issue of COPR.
You can google it to get the exact timeline.

Thanks for note. But I haven't got yet passport request. Let me Google it regarding for CORP validity.

Any seniors or suggestion. Whether I need to submit my new passport or still older passport will work because it has 9 months to expire.

Your COPR validity will be ONE year from the date of your medicals.
If you already applied for your new PP , send them when you receive it.

Usually COPR is valid for 1 year from the date of medicals or your passport expiry date whichever comes earliest. If it is me, I will email CIC with copy of my current passport and ask them if they want you to renew it.
CIC might have some rule around this and may be they will be able to give you an answer.

The request implies that CIC thinks your passport has expired. To me, it sounds like there could be an error - perhaps it was intended for someone else, or... who knows. If I were you, I would call CIC to verify the request.
