Ok now i see why they are having doubt and asked for proof of marriage. Just gather all those documents from their email, and you are good to proceed.

OP2 SAYS-

Telephone marriage A marriage in which one of the participants is not physically present and is
not represented by a proxy but participates directly by telephone is a legal
marriage if it is legally recognized according to the law of the place where it
occurred. This is a legal marriage for immigration purposes provided it
meets the Canadian

Hi

I got the same email too for the additional docs. My husband in India and Its been almost 6 years since we got married. I called CIC and updated my status when we got married and even reconfirmed at later stage too. In their records , I am married and I dont why they are asking for these all docs in my case. Any idea.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have received the same email 4-Apr-2014 . The only difference is I have been asked to reply to it in 30 days. Could you please tell me if you have received any response after submitting your documents?

Thanks.

If they asked me to send some more evidence such as post marriage pictures phone bill and all that stuff then what should I do.
I chat with my wife on whatsapp in native language and we often do skype video chat. SO, my point is how would I able to show those as evidence ?

You could send snapshots of your skype conversations, receipts from Money Transfers if any.
