Request for an open work permit for spouse under post-graduation work permit

Hi. I have a post-graduation work permit until 2015 and I intend to apply for an open work permit for my husband. In Sep2012, I finished my master degree from Western University and then received my PGWP. Then, I came back to IRAN and got married. Now I wanna come back to Canada and start finding job and working there. I love to take my husband with me and work in canada, either. The embassy in Iran is closed and we have to send our application to the embassy in Turkey. I wanna know, does my husband have a chance to get an open work permit under my PGWP, unless I do not have a job in canada,right now? Should I go to Canada and find a job then apply my husband apply for an open work permit under my PGWP?

Hello, I have the same dilemma as you. Can you tell me how you are doing so far? Did you apply a TRV for your husband already or did you look for work first?

You have to find a skilled job (NOC 0, A or B). Once you have it, you can apply for a OWP for your husband.
