Greetings and I hope all are well who read this.
My wife and I are expecting in April, God willing. We already by the grace of God have one child aged 3.
We would like for her parents to visit us here in Ontario, and stay at our home. In addition to seeing there grand-daughter born, it would be a great help for my wife emotionally and physically to have her mother around for emotional support and other support such as postpartum massage, helping with cooking special foods, and child care etc. Along with the fact my wife would be very pleased and proud to have her parents stay in her house for once.
I work a full time job and my wife is stay at home.
My father in law owns two flats in Mumbai which are on rent and has a small business, mother in law is stay at home. Liquid cash is not much.
Both are citizens of India. Both Have valid visa for Saudi as backup to visit sister in-law who is also giving birth soon, but has more family support there hence why they have us as first option.
They do not have any children left with them full time currently as they are all recently married, but occasionally the children return home for some months at a time to stay.
Father has previous visa(s) to Saudi and Oman, Mother has no travel experience outside of India.
We have a letter from the doctor in charge of my wife stating it would be beneficial to have her family visit for support at time of birth.
Ideally we would like them to stay with us for 3 months if possible, and if the father in law doesn't get so bored that he goes home early ( distinct possibility )
What is the best way to go about this to provide for greatest chance of success in this proposed timeline?
Thank you for all that have and give the time to contribute. Anything helps.
Regards.
