Representative cancellation

You need to create an account on IRCC website. After longing, you will submit the Representative cancellation form. They will link your PR application to your account and you will be having a full access including express entry. However, EE is locked.

I selected in Canada when i made it as the process was in CPC-Ottawa

EE locked means you can't change anything in your express entry. I knew it was in Ottawa from the GCMS notes and i also made it in very early stages in the PR application process.

It won't create any problems. Just fill the form, send it through webforms and then link your application to your account. I did the same.

Newbie here! Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I hope someone here can help me.

I just got my ITA, and I would like to cancel my representative. I have filled out the IMM5476 form to cancel my representative and submitted it yesterday. However, I have some questions.

1) Does anyone know what UCI to put in the form. I originally used my UCI from my work permit, however I noticed that I got another UCI in my EE profile. I am not sure which UCI to use to cancel my representative.

2) Also, Does anyone know what I need to do after cancelling my representative? I am not sure if my application would automatically link into my IRCC account or I would have link it myself through my CIC account.

3) Also, I tried to link my application to my CIC account today to start working on the required documents, howevr I had no success with this. For now, after trying multiple ways (5times), I am still not able to link my account. Does anyone know if this is because my representative hasn't been cancelled yet? I thought after I submit the cancel request, I should be able to link it right away.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick question, I hired an idiot consultant they submitted my wrong information and as per CIC i wan not eligible because consultant submitted wrong IELTS certificate. That means my application is not started yet.
but now i don't want any contact with my consultant, do i have to cancel that consultant as my application is not started yet, if yes then where to submit cancellation form?

How long did you wait to link your application? Until the CIC answer your email (Web Form submission?) or you did it right away?

I submitted my use of representative cancellation last Thursday (Oct 24, 2019).

I submitted the request through the web forms and attached the cancellation form. IRCC immediately linked my application with my account. Don't worry. no one can do anything wrong.

So you mean that after CIC processes the cancellation of representative web form, they don't automatically link your application to your account? I've submitted the web form with the cancellation form attached. Should I now click on the "link application to account" option that's currently appearing when I login to my account? Or should I wait for CIC to process my web form and for my account to be automatically linked by them?

link you application on your MyCIC portal, there is a part that will request that document even tough that you already submitted thru the web form. And automatically they will link your profile.

After this, I suggest you tell your representative in case you have a contract or they have a “valid” representation form, yours is newer so is valid. Just do the right thing.

The only option I'm seeing is to "add (link) your application to your account" and when I click on this it asks me to input further information (eg. name, account number, UCI, and other details about my application). When I enter the information it says that there are no matches and after 5 attempts I'm barred from trying again for another 24 hours.

I can't find an option to upload a web form when I login to my CIC account... I must not be looking in the right place. I'd be so grateful if you would guide me step by step on how to do what you advised in your post. Many thanks

So it turns out I was selecting the wrong option for application type and that was the issue (I was picking Federal Skilled Worker instead of Express Entry). I've managed to link my account back now and it happened immediately

Hi, I have the same problem too. I have terminated the representative services. He claims he has withdrawn all my applications. My question are:1) should I submit the cancellation form before i create a new profile or while I am filling a new profile and submit it with the new profile.2) how can I tell if he wrote something negative against when withdrawing the application.

Hi, did you get sign from representative as well..I am in the same situation. However in imm5476 they are asking for representative declaration too..
