YES, only IF YOU HAVE A MULTIPLE- ENTRY TRV VISA ALONG WITH YOUR STUDY PERMIT. You MUST submit TRV application to any visa office outside of Canada (normally at Buffalo, USA or your homeland). Usually a multiple entry TRV visa would be issued for the same duration as your Study Permit.

Yeah...I do have multiple Entry TRV visa till 2014 and study permit tll 2014...Any other thing required...!

Most probably NO. Just crosscheck with the international department of your college and inform about your visit back home stating that you already have a multiple entry TRV. That should be enough.

By the way, which 2 years course you are pursuing at Sheridian?

i think u can go as long as u have a multiple entry visa but be sure to take your university admission letter with u as to be on safer side if there would be any inquiry .enjoy Ur journey to India and by the way which state of INDIA u belongs to.

Bro...I am from india..I have indian passport...and on visa its written Entry-Multiple and Valid date = till 2014...same on study permit..

Can u tel me dat My TRV us till 2014...ryt...i don't need to aplly for that...

actually TRV is not a study permit and its purpose is like u can go outside of the country which the visa issued for,if it is a multiple visa if it would be single entry visa,then if in future one travel outside of the country then one cant attain the reentry again!like u said it is written multiple on it so you are good to go but remember to take study permit and admission letter or student id card just as a proof that u r a fully registered student here

@ daksh Ya..also take the Univ. admission letter with you, just to be on a safer side. Ya..there are two visas... study permit and another TRV( temp. resident visa), both have usually same date of expiry. IF u see on your TRV, that expiry date is 2014 and it's clearly mentioned MULTIPLE ENTRY. then don't worry..you are good to go. Just take your admission letter and inform the international office at your college.

And one more thing like my second semestr starts on 7th of may...Bt i can't cum befr 12th....SO is it posibl because I really have urgent work..
Will colege help me in this...One more week holidays...

u can take help from international student or any kind of help center in your college.there should be some advisor who can help u

Well.. my friend... even though there is no rule that you cannot enter late after the starting of your course (be it at the beginning of course or during breaks between semesters ) it's REALLY NOT ADVISABLE TO DO SO. I mean, it may create a negative impression with the officer at the port of entry..or he may ask more questions. Why take the risk? Try your best... as far as possible to return by 6th May. Again, consult your international office/ students adviser in your college. They will be the best to guide and give you answers regarding late entry.
