Reopening case at CHC, Islamabad

My application is refused due to a mistake by CIC. The only way to contact CHC, Islamabad is through emails. I have heard that they have reopened cases in the past when the mistake is their end.

I emailed them on March 29. Still no response from them, I am not sure even if they have read my email or not. I am intended to start my studies on May, 09. It would be very difficult for me to get a deferment at this moment. What would be your suggestions?

1. Should I immediately reapply or wait for their reply?

2. Do they ever reply emails? has anyone received any reply from them recently ?

3. If I reapply, are there chances to get the visa this quick?

they never reopens cases if decision has been made, if they refused your case and sent back to you then they will never reply you and unfortunetly " Under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, there is no formal right of appeal on temporary resident decisions. Instead, you can reapply. If possible, a different officer will examine the application." you should re apply immediately,,, why they refused?

Reason of refusal was "COMPLETION OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION". They never received my medical results, so reason is that I never went through medical examination. However, I had it 2 months ago and I have receipts, and doctor's verbatim in email that my results were uploaded on eMedical about 2 months ago. I asked from the doctor, according to him, it wasn't a problem from their side as they uploaded results on the system.

Why do you think it was a CIC mistake? There is no provision to re-open the case unless you go through court and that's also restricted only to cases where there is an error of fact (not error of judgement).

Reason:
"To date, you have failed to comply with our request for: COMPLETION OF MEDICal examination".

I had it two months ago. Doctor confirmed that results were uploaded, I have receipts as proof too. Isn't that an error ?

very sorry about this it is really their mistake,,,, this shows how they works,,,,, any ways only option is to re apply and explain why are re applying,,,

Thanks for the suggestion. I hope they look at the case this time carefully. One question: Police clearance certificate, the one I have is now about 7 months old. CIC's website says it should not be more than 6 months old, so do I have to obtain the certificate again?

PCC validity depends upon the date of application,, it should not be 6 months old at the time of application. if your application processing takes more than 6 months then they may ask for new one or may be not,,, it is upto them but you should submit new one as 6 months old is invalid according to CIC

Got accepted into fully funded PhD program at University of Alberta, Edmonton.

Applied for Visa (paper-based) in Late December,
received medical call in late January
Medical done in early February
Visa application refused in late March because of Medical examination.

This is frustrating, I remember 2 years ago my wife apply for TRV from home and they refuse the application stating we should have applied in Canada ! what kinda of reason is this !!

Then reapply again and got it
