I am currently still in my homecountry and i will be starting my 4 years undergraduate studies this fall in Canada. So I should apply for my study permit as soon as I can. However, my passport expires after 8 months from now (on march 2016), which means that my -to be aquired- study permit will also expire on that date or maybe earlier.
So, when I arrive in Canada, I will have to renew both my passport and my study permit. Will that be possible? Is study permit renewal/extension a hard process and could there be a chance of refusal?!
Keep in mind that it is difficult for me to renew my passport before leaving to Canada.
What do you suggest?
