I just started my 2 year school program under a study permit and a coop permit, but my passport expires right in the midst of my program in 2020, so I will need to renew my passport along with my study and coop permits.
I have not yet been to the office to apply for my actual SIN number, since I was worried that renewing my work permit after I apply for SIN will mess things up.
If I apply for a SIN right now using my current coop work permit which expires in 2020 (I am planning to finish my schooling in 2021), will that be an issue since I will be renewing my passport by May 2020 and that means I will have to receive a new permit for study and coop?
