Did you figure it out?Did someone figure this out? Is the only workaround to do a paper application?
Hi there,<<<< PROBLEM SOLVED>>>>
Guys, I finally got this resolved. This is just a warning and not an issue from any of your days where you might have been confused about not enabling the "Submit" button. In fact, that’s not the cause of the issue. The real problem is not selecting the correct document type from the drop-down menu.
Follow this:
This will enable the "Submit" button.
- Make sure in the "Document Type" category, you select either "Passport" or "Other Primary ID Document," and upload your passport copy.
If you've already selected this option, then make sure you fulfill these requirements:
Once these steps are done, the "Submit" button will be enabled.
- Complete all mandatory forms: IMM5444, Document Checklist, IMM5476 (if using a representative).
- Provide the mandatory supporting documents: a photocopy of your primary identity document.
- Include proof that you've paid your fees.
- Upload a valid photo.
- Complete the consent and declaration.
I had the same problem like everyone else, what worked for my just now was to enter a second travel date when I was outside of Canada. My period that supposed to be assessed were from 2020/01/21 to 2025/01/21 and I had only traveled in 2023 outside of Canada in that time period. But I had traveled also in 2019, so I put that date in as well and that seemed ro be working- haven’t pressed to blue shiny button yet, since I’m not sure if it is eligible. I’ll call them tomorrow and hope to get some answers.Hi there,
I’m currently struggling with the same issue. I’m happy that you were able to solve this issue but honestly I still don’t understand how. The IMM 5444 form is a separate form of the Document list. So when I upload the “Passport or Other Primary ID Document” it’s outside of the IMM 5444 on the online application form. I uploaded everything and when the website recognizes that every mandatory field is filled out correctly it says “Ready to submit”. But my IMM 5444 form is still showing “In progress”. I checked everything ten times now. No idea how to submit my form. Getting super frustrated. Is anyone still struggling with this?
Since the assessed period is from 2020/01/21, any travel date before that do not need to be listed in your form.I had the same problem like everyone else, what worked for my just now was to enter a second travel date when I was outside of Canada. I agree, but after I listed the travel of 2019, if finally let me safe it.Since the assessed period is from 2020/01/21, any travel date before that do not need to be listed in your form.
