Hello There,

Can you please help me in calculating the no of days for my PR card renewal

Issued on 2nd May 2010 and expire in June 2015.

No of days spent in Montreal from 02 May 2010 to 27 April 2011 = 330 days
No of days spent in Mississauga from 13 April 2014 to 30 June 2015 (until expiry) = 444 days
less the 2 months that immigration do not take into consideration = 60 days
Total no of days will be = 714 days

I will be missing 16 days, please kindly advise if I renew my PR at end of June 2015 or in July 2015 will it cause a big problem. The fact that I could not travel before was I stayed in the clinic for 2 days and also was having a treatment for my foot. I have all my doctors notes.

Thanks
Daisy

1. Don't bother applying until you have 730 days of residency in the past 5 years.

Don't travel until you meet the residency obligation if your PR status is important to you.
