renewal of TRV without plane ticket.

hi guys i just want to ask because i want to renew my TRV but i still dont have my itinerary plane ticket.. i have my plan of vacation from Nov 14,2013 to Jan 31, 2014...so can i apply for TRV even without my plane ticket ? im just confused with different answers i've got.

If you are applying for a re-entry TRV within Canada (via CPP-Ottawa) - the document checklist for In-Canada applicants does not list the plane ticket/trip itinerary as a requirement. See here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5721E.pdf

If you are applying for a re-entry TRV at a visa office outside of Canada, that document checklist does mention to include a photocopy of the return plane ticket /itinerary (if applicable)...http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5484E.pdf

@cutepinay, better renew your trv here in canada...it will give you a peace of mind and won't eat your schedule during your vacation...i'm preparing my paperworks for renewing my trv as well and i think, you don't need a plane ticket to apply...especially if your trv will expire soon, they know that you're just preparing yourself for future travels...Godbless. c",)

oh yeah ;D thanks ragluf for replying ^_^ i am applying within Canada so i think i am okay now to pass my TRV ^_^

@ natsy yes were the same for our upcoming vacation woot woot ;D I know you are still waiting for your OWP before you apply for your trv right ? hmmm i can suggest that you too can apply it now..bec we still have a valid work permit to show them for our renewal if you are currently employed bec a friend of mine applied for TRV last may and got hers this week just a month processing and he just used her closed work permit ^_^ i am so excited to apply godd bless you too ;D

ohhhh thats why ... yah thats right wait for owp cause for sure your trv will get refusal because your work permit is about to expire .. my work permit is till May 2014 same with my passport my plane date is Nov 14 to January 31,2014 my employer allowed me to ^_^ yaaahh super excited i hope everything will run smoothly especially for applying my nso marriage certi and passport renewal.. and no problems to immigration when i come back haha so many hopes...
