Good morning!

I am in the midst of submitting my PR renewal application forms. I just had a few questions regarding names.

In the Philippines, when a married woman wanted to bear the husband's surname, her surname when single will become her middle name. For example this is the full name on my old PR Card that needs update:

Given Name : A
Middle Name: B
Surname: C

In my updated Phil passport bearing husband's name, the full name is now:

Given name: A
Middle name: C
Surname: D

My Health card, SIN, etc are following the format of my old PR Card because my CoPR is also in this format.

Question1: When filling in the forms, should I still retain my given name as A B? and not A C? As I understood, changing given name requires legal name change docs that is a long tedious process.

Question2: if i decided to keep the given name so my full name on my renewal PR form is A B D while my Phil passport is showing A C D, will it pose problems when travelling to Philippines and to other countries and back to Canada?

I hope somebody can enlighten me on this based on their experiences.

Thank you very much!
