i got offer latter from durham college for renewable energy technician. I want to know about the future scope of that field in canada and required info regarding to oshawa city.

i am electrical engineering graduate and my ielts score is 6.5(s-5.5 w-6, L-7, R-7.5)

I too have an admit for the Renewable energy technician program from durham for the '16 intake. but i also have an admit for Instrumentation Engineering Technician- Process automation and Control. am yet to decide between the two. and yeah the scope for the renewable energy is comparatively good since they have many renewable energy projects coming up in and around the province of ontario but still am not sure whether a mere 1 year technician course would suffice from a job perspective. :)
