Renew PR

Hi,

My wife has went threw the Immigration test on JAN 31st, 2019 and waiting for oath date..but her PR is going to expire in JULY 15th, 2019. Does she need to renew her PR or can she wait for oath without renewing PR and submit expire PR card at the time of oath is okay? if she doesn't have any plans to go out of Canada. Please reply back if anybody knows about this case. Thanks in advance.

If she meets the PR residency requirements, I don't believe she needs to get a new PR card as your PR status does not expire with the expiry of card. Others can comment if I am wrong.

Totally fine as long as she doesn't need to travel.
