Renew passport b4 landing?

Hello all, I got my immigrant visa, but my passport is nearly expired can I renew my passport and I attach to it the old passport with my valid visa before my landing? It will not be a problem with the visa officer upon my entry in Canada? Please comment, and have best of luck guys.

Tanx for the replay, but u know calling cic is more comported than getting the visa it self ;D
