renew passport after getting immigration visa before landing, Urgent

Hi,

I need help. I got my immigration visa about 6 months ago. I was planning to land in July. Now I found my passport which holds my visa will be expired in 7 months. I have doubt if i renew my passport , will i have any problem entering canada since my visa is printed in my previous passport? I f I hold the old and the new pass, would it be ok? please guide me. is there any governmental link i can refer to?

Should be ok coz visa us basically to travel/reach Canada and AFAIK is valid even if on expired passport. But make sure to land b4 meds expire
