Hi folks,

On my application to get our ITA, I listed my wife's foreign work experience. But now that we're doing the full application, it would appear we might not need to get letters from her employers. Her foreign work experience doesn't count towards my points score, so we were considering just moving that work history to the 'personal' section of the application and submitting without any letters for her. For personal reasons, it might be tough to get the letters otherwise.

Anybody have any words of caution or comfort on this? Anybody done something similar?

Thanks!

Some people say yes, some people say no. However there is not a single case of rejection from doing this. If you move it just mention in your loe it got you no Crs points and you couldn't provide sufficient evidence.

I'm doing the same thing. It doesn't affect my points in any way, so it shouldn't matter.

Me too - removed complete wife's work history to personal history and even did the same for my self-employment. Since I have 3+ years of experience without it, it doesn't award me any extra points and it's really hard to gather all the evidence to support it.
