Removing Restrictions

Hi

Does anyone know if you can have restrictions removed from a visa at the border please? I have heard people have done this but wanted to check. Wife has passed a medical to work in Childcare but it is over a 100 day wait if we apply online? Thanks for any help

Once you complete the medical, you need to wait around 2-3 weeks for it to be processed and recorded in CIC's systems. You can then flagpole at a US/Canada land border to get the restriction removed.

Phoned CIC today and they said the medical is now valid, so does this mean that the border people will be able to see that fact as well, CIC said restrictions can be removed now medical is passed. Thanks just wasn't sure if we were allowed to go to Border instead of online. Thanks
