Removing conditions from my open work permit

Hi everyone,

please I have an urgent question. Now, I reside in Canada and It is written in my open work permit that I can't work in teaching and health service and I want to remove these conditions.

I know that I should go for a medical examination and then to fill the IMM 5710 and to submit it.

Are these are only the required items?

where is submit them?

How much are the fees?

How long the processing time is?

I also have some questions regarding the IMM 5710 form.

1- what to choose [you are applying for:

A work permit with the same employer
An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
Restoration of your status as a worker
An initial or an extension of a temporary resident permit

I don't want any of these. I just want to remove the limits.

2- where in the form to include that i want to change the conditions?

May I know the reason why you want to remove all those conditions?

As far as I know you can not work in sex trade, teaching field while on PGWP or Open Work Permit..

You can work in health and teaching on an open permit as long as you are suitably qualified. Those conditions also cover places like daycares etc, you need the medical to work in those industries.

As far as I know you can not work in sex trade, teaching field while on PGWP or Open Work Permit..

The conditions are written in one line that I can't work in a childcare - primary and secondary teaching - health services.

When I call CIC, I keep getting different answers to this. As per one of the CIC agent, I sent my work permit along with amendment form and passport copy to CIC office,Ottawa. Now I am waiting for my work permit to be updated..SO my query is is it possible to remove employment location condition in amendment case?

We are in the same situation. Your procedure sounds correct... Sending a new work permit application for extension / change conditions, as well as a completed medical from panel physicians are essential. It is an online process, emphasizing we are PR pending inland, OWP modification. It's processing is likely Vegreville Alberta for us. We are still waiting a month but we're told our approved application and documents are on the way by mail.

I recently got terminated from one of the reputated company in Vancouver. Reason was i dont valid work permit to work in van city. Fyi i got open work permit on my spouse behalf . Under employment location it says surrey bc with no conditions or remarks at bottom of wp . Checked with cbsa official that it is valid n i can work anywhere in Canada. My employer is not ready to listen.. how can i get my job back. ?
