thanks for all the support
when i went to cbsa on march 1st their said will give 60days to CIC reply them with a update of me sponsorship
but after 3days i got a mail saying


"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law
Partner in Canada Class.

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as
a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class. Please note that a final decision
will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met.
These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of
your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada
at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have
met these requirements.

In order to continue processing your application, further information is required. You must
complete/submit the following to this office:

> Police Certificate: Provide an original police clearance certificate for ....... To find
out how to obtain this document, visit our website
..........cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/.............................. This must be
received at this office by: 2017/04/07

All requested documents/information and a copy of this correspondence must be submitted within the
timeframes specified above (formatted as “year/month/day”). If you are unable to provide any or all of
the requested documents/information, please explain why they are not available. Failure to provide
the required documents may result in the refusal of your application for permanent residence. Should
this occur, no further consideration will be given to your request for permanent residence unless a
new application, including fees, is submitted.

what does this mean???
I presumed this unprecedented situation eventually went well. Dd you went to the CBSA with a lawyer?

No not yet. You will not be deported. Your appeal is still in process. Go, and they will ask you to be coming maybe once a month so register. Good luck. I went through that before I got my papers after a refugee denial
Can I contact you since you went through this, my mom received same letter from cbsa , her PRRA file is rejected but we made an appeal and the judge granted the review more time but we didn’t received any decision yet even her lawyer checked the status online and said all under processing. So I don’t know what going to happen at the interview we are so worried. So since you have experience in this please help

Is your mother being sponsored by her spouse? If not it seems as though your mother’s application is quite different. What did she initially apply for? She’s been denied PPRA right? Getting PPRA is extremely difficult. What is she appealing?
