My hubby is the principal applicant in our EE Profile and with me accompanying him the CRS is 394. However I got a lead from one of the consultants that if my hubby removes me as the accompanying applicant then the CRS might go above 400 and so it increases our chances of getting an NOI from Ontario. Has anyone any idea about it?

P.S. Both of us do NOT have an ICT background so obviously we cannot get an NOI from Ontario at the current CRS.

That is true. However your spouse sponsoring you at a later stage willbe too lengthy. official timelines for spouse sponsorship is 12 months.

Thanks though!

this is a misrepresentation, do not try

to remove you from the application he has to declare him self as single and that is misrepresentation search the forum and you will get more answers its a NO

Yeah but to increase the points he doesnt have to put single. I think what the consultant meant was to put partner as non-accompanying spouse which will still increase CRS points with future sponsorship.

Any idea how much time will the sponsorship take then?

Sponsorship takes approximately 1 year. And before applying to sponsor you he must be employed in canada.

If your spouse hasn't already scored CLB9 on his IELTS, he could reappear and improve his CRS score significantly. Good luck.

but you should have a genuine reason with proof, first as to why non-accompanying first and then sponsoring a year later?

Maybe because you wish to settle down in a whole new country first and then get your spouse later if things work out well for you there.
