Remotely landed CoPR?

Hello,

I am an Inland EE applicant and I have just recieved my CoPR letter, and in it is stated:

I am pleased to advise you that your application for permanent residence in Canada is now complete. Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada!

This letter constitutes an official document issued by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. You can provide a copy of this letter to prove that you are a permanent resident of Canada and to apply for government benefits and services for which you are eligible, until you receive your permanent resident card.

Previously I have read in other posts that they usually request your passport to be stamped and later on I should request a meeting to activate the PR or Flagpole. I haven't received any information related to this, and instead I have just been requested to send two photos in order to make my PR Card.

Does it mean that my status is already updated?

I am a bit confused.

Yes, due to the COVID-19, this is the new procedure. They skip the PPR and landing.

Just send in a copy of the letter and 1 photo. That's it! you are now a permanent resident! I know it seems unreal: and it took a week before my new status sunk in

I am FSW, but Provincial Nomineee, I am not sure if they are doing it with applications outside Canada
